Rasmus Wendt is an international policy and sustainable development expert with a PhD in international politics and economics. Currently serving as Energy Counsellor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, he specialises in green transition, climate policy, utilities, trade and institutional development. With extensive experience across the Nordic region, EU, India, Africa, Southeast Asia, MENA, and the US, he has led multi-stakeholder programmes focused on sustainable development and public-private partnerships. Wendt has managed multimillion-dollar initiatives, driven innovation and industrial policy frameworks, and contributed to regional integration and international cooperation programmes.
