Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured the ₹4,700 crore Satara Transmission Project, designed to boost critical power transmission corridors between Southern and Western India and supporting the channeling of renewable energy between Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The project will enable 4,500 MW of renewable and energy storage power to be channelised, supporting the integration of clean generation and strengthening connectivity between regions with different demands of power.
AESL will develop a 765/400 kV substation at Satara and establish a 765 kV double-circuit transmission line from Kolhapur to Satara. Additionally, the project will also expand the capacity of the Kolhapur pooling station.
With this project, AESL’s cumulative transmission network will reach 29,739 ckm, with the aggregate transformation capacity of 1,43,425 MVA.
