GAIL has floated a tender to appoint a Project Management Consultant for a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project of 22 MWh BESS in Maharashtra, to meet its power requirements.


GAIL (India) Ltd. has floated a Project Management Consultant (PMC) tender in Maharashtra for setting up a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project with 22 MWh of BESS.


GAIL would be the primary utiliser of the energy generated. The transmission line to the MSETCL substation will be of 132/220 kV .


The PMC will work as an extension of GAIL and the project will be executed on EPC basis while ensuring quality and safety.


The PMC will also monitor the liabilities, contractual obligations and submission of final project documentation to GAIL.


September 30, 2026 is the last date for submission of bids. On October 1, 2026 the techno-commercial bids will be opened.


The bidders should have carried out the solar PV PMC or engineering services in the last seven years for any project of either one 80 MW, two 50 MW, or three 40 MW (AC). Additionally, their three-year average annual turnover should be INR 44 Lakh.
