GK Energy has secured an order worth ₹235.92 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL), to install 10,000 solar-powered water pumping systems in Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.
The order includes design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of 3HP, 5HP and 7.5 HP solar-powered agricultural pumping systems across the state.
The project must be completed within 60 days following the issue of the work order or Notice to Proceed (NTP).
This project will enable farmers to provide dependable, eco-friendly irrigation energy while cutting reliance on traditional power grids through strengthening the deployment of solar-powered irrigation systems across Maharashtra.
With this project, GK Energy has successfully bagged orders worth ₹637.83 crore from the utility, according to an exchange filing reported by The Pioneer.
