In what could be seen as a development that added to its large scale renewable energy projects portfolio in India, Kalpa Power Pvt Ltd (KPPL) has bagged a 286 MWp utility scale solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
This comes on the heels of the state’s major renewable energy capacity expansion over the past 12 years. Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity saw a rise of nearly 25 times, from 438 MW to more than 11,000 MW.
With this project, KPPL adds to its utility scale portfolio. Besides, it supports the company’s focus on developing large-scale renewable energy projects across India. The company is eyeing to expand its overall renewable energy portfolio to 5 GW by 2030.
