Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd (REIL) has invited bids for setting up 15 MWp of grid-connected solar power projects on government buildings across five regions under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. The tender, valued at ₹3.37 crore, has set September 29, 2026, as the deadline for bid submission.


The tender is of 15 MWp and values ₹3.37 crore. The total 15 MWp capacity has been divided into five regions: Region 1 covers Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha with 4.9 MWp; Region 2 covers Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Leh & Ladakh (Special Category) with 1.5 MW; Region 3 covers Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala with 3.9 MWp; Region 4 covers Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa with 3.7 MW; and Region 5 covers Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana with 1 MW.


Bidders are required to submit an EMD of ₹0.45 lakh/MWp. Successful bidders must also deposit ₹1.125 lakh/MWp for general category regions and ₹1.2375 lakh/MWp for special category regions.


The last date for submission is September 29, 2026. Techno-commercial bids will be opened from September 30, 2026.


Bidders can submit bids for at least one region, with a minimum project size of 20 kWp. They are also permitted to bid for multiple regions, subject to the tender conditions.


Bidders must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works within the last seven years. They must have completed either three projects, each with a capacity of at least 40 percent of the quoted capacity; two projects, each with at least 50% of the quoted capacity; or one project with at least 80 percent of the quoted capacity. In addition, bidders must have a minimum net worth of ₹45 lakh/MW and a minimum average annual turnover (MAAT) of ₹1.35 crore/MW during the last three financial years.
