Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Associated Capsules Group (ACG) for a 5 MWp solar power project paired with a 4 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Maharashtra.
The project underlines Roofsol Energy’s debut in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, boosting the company’s goal of offering combined renewable power and battery storage systems for commercial applications.
Under the project, solar generation will be integrated with battery storage to support ACG in improving energy resilience, optimising energy consumption and elevating the use of cleaner power across its operations.
The partnership will potentially enable the growing adoption of solar-plus-storage solutions in India’s C&I market, catering to growing demand for reliable and flexible clean energy solutions.
