SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) has issued a tender for 1000 MWac solar project for the development of grid-connected solar projects of up to 1000 MW in Punjab and Rajasthan, paired with land acquisition and associated EPC activities. The deadline for bid submissions is September 16, 2026. SGEL is a subsidiary of SJVN.
Also, the tender includes undertaking comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for an overall tendered capacity of 1000 MWac for five years. Bidders can apply capacity wise for 250 MWac, 500 MWac, 750 MWac, or 1000 MWac. The bidders are also required to underline their proposed configuration of the offered capacity which can be executed as a single project, split across multiple projects at one or more locations, or organized through a combination of both.
Furthermore, every 250 MWac Unit would consist of two portions, including a 100 MWac portion where the contractor is fully responsible for supplying all solar modules, materials, equipment, and required facilities.
To allocate the awarded capacity, the overall tendered capacity of 1000 MWac is partitioned into four identified capacity portions of 250 MWac each, designated as Unit-1 to Unit-4. The bidders must also designate the projects sequentially as Project-1, Project-2, Project-3, and Project-4, as applicable. The fee for the tender document is fixed ₹5,000 plus 18 percent GST.
