Suzlon has bagged a 105 MW wind energy order from Sunsure Energy on Tuesday as reported by PTI.
This order serves as the commercial rollout for the S175, currently India's tallest and most powerful wind turbine. However, the company elected to not disclose any financial details regarding the order.
The company in its statement stated that Suzlon has secured its first 105 MW order for the next-generation turbine from Sunsure Energy within just two weeks from the launch of the S175 (5.0 MW). The statement further added that this order marks Sunsure's third order from Suzlon in under 14 months, bringing their combined portfolio to 400.8 MW.
The project scope covers delivering, erecting, commissioning, and maintaining 21 next-generation S175 WTGs at the Bijapur site in Karnataka.
