Waaree Renewable Technologies, a subsidiary of Waaree group has bagged two letters of award for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order from a renewable energy company for two ground-mounted Solar PV projects.
The order includes a total 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp, the first project consists 400 MWac / 530 MWp and the second is a 400 MWac / 552 MWp plant.
The project is expected to be finished during FY2027-28, in line with the terms of the contracts, as per a statement by Waaree.
The company further confirmed that the awarder is an independent party, ensuring the contracts do not count as related-party transactions. Additionally the awarder is a domestic entity and is commercial in nature.
This order will potentially strengthen Waaree’s EPC order book and boost the company’s position in India's utility-scale solar infrastructure segment.
